Il On 26 February 2009 the House approved the final bill, already approved by the Senate, the conversion of the Decree-Law of 30 December 2008, n. 208, recante misure straordinarie in materia di risorse idriche e di protezione dell`ambiente. 208 on measures relating to water resources and protection of the environment.
In the conversion have been some changes to the decree law and in particular, to the Article 5, after paragraph 2 was added 2 d which reads:
The unique model of the environmental statement attached to the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of 2 December 2008 will be used, with instructions for the statements to be submitted by 30 April 2010, with reference to the year 2009, by the stakeholders.

For the statements to be submitted by April 30 2009, with reference to the year 2008, the model used is the one attached to the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of 24 December 2002, as amended by Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of 22 December 2004, with instructions..MUD for 2009 are the applicable rules established by the DPCM 24/12/2002 and 22/12/2004: producers of EEE will not be able to communicate this information to the amount placed on the market.
If required, must submit a declaration, as producers, to communicate the waste they produce. Therefore:

• The parameters of acceptability of the waste in the landfill shall be extended until 31 December 2009 or environmental statements to be submitted by end April 2009, in the year 2008, will use the old model MUD.
• Shifted to 2010 the new MUD for environmental statements to be submitted by end April 2009, in the year 2008, it shallll use the old model MUD.
